The 5^th Bristol University Juggling Convention

Welcome to the BOB convention (Bristol's Other Bristol convention).

• Date: Saturday 25^th November 2006.



• Place: Bristol University Students Union, Queens Rd, Clifton, Bristol, BS8 1LN, UK. See the extensive directions page to find out how to get there.
  
  PLEASE NOTE: We won't be putting up road signs this year. (We always stay up till 3am putting up signs, and by 8am most of them have been nicked, so we've decided there's no point).



• Time: 10am till 11pm.



• Cost: £5



• Juggling Space: We have a large hall for all day juggling, extra rooms for workshops and a bar next door.



• Workshops: If you would like to run a workshop, please email James at the address below.

• Food & Drink: University-style food on site (with numerous takeaways and restaurants 5 minutes walk away) and a bar opposite the juggling hall!



• Show: The best of the west. The acts were:
  
  Udry & Sparks - Club duo, with attitude, and probably baseball caps.
  Rob Whittall - Palm rolling and contact. With crystals.
  Mr Rossy - Poetry. With body popping.
  Luke Roberts - Grand finalist from Let Me Entertain You TV show. With yo-yos.
  Norbi - Busting out some old skool spinning. With diabolo(s), that is.
  
  Rob Fiery - Casino Royale tie-in, Mr Bond? With clubs, and a hat, but no martini.
  Jonas Egli - Diabolo. With theatre.
  Matt Pang - Balls, a hat and a suitcase, without stripey socks.
  Jessie Rose - Hula. With hoops!
  Rob Whittall - That's a familiar name. This time with balls and clubs, and style.
  The Void - Your debonair, witty, multi-talented compère (who may or may not have edited this webpage ;-] )
  
  Please note that this is an evening cabaret-style show, and may contain some strong language. It might not be suitable for parents who are easily offended. (It should be fine for children though).



• More Juggling: Everybody attending BOB is also welcome to come to the free Circusoc Sunday Workshop from 2.30pm to 5pm, at the same venue. Also Sunday lunch at a nearby pub first.
